Cover Company present at The Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance

The Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance is an annual classic car event held in Amelia Island, Florida. It was first held in 1996, and has since become one of the premier classic car events in the United States. The event was founded by Bill Warner, a car collector and historian who wanted to create a world-class event that would showcase some of the most rare and historic automobiles in the world. Over the years, the Amelia Island Concours has grown in popularity and has attracted a large following of car enthusiasts and collectors. The event typically takes place over the course of several days and includes a variety of activities, such as classic car auctions, a driving tour, and the main event, the concours d'elegance, which features over 300 rare and historic automobiles on display.

The Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance is managed and presented by Hagerty, a company that specializes in classic car insurance, valuation, and other related services. In 2020, Hagerty became the new owner and presenter of the event, taking over from the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance Foundation. Bill Warner, the founder of the event, remains involved as a co-founder and serves on the event's selection committee. I apologize for any confusion my previous response may have caused.

Cover Company is a proud exhibitor at 2023 edition of the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance on the 4th and 5th of March 2023. We will be also present at the Werks Porsche Reunion on Friday 3rd of March. We will showcase some of our exclusive car covers and have the complete catalogue of products to offer customers and visitors a complete view of our company´s activities including custom car covers, indoor and outdoor car covers and other car care and car protection accessories.

The Annual Porsche Winemaker's Dinner presented by Porsche Cars NA

Kick off your weekend at The Amelia with an intimate fine dining experience hosted by Porsche Cars NA at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. Featuring a celebrated sommelier who pairs each course with wines complementary to the menu, this yearly event has been known to attract drivers and celebrities from across the Porsche landscape. Tickets required, cocktail attire recommended.

Friday 3 March

7:00 am - 2:00 pm

Eight Flags Road Tour presented by Reliable Carriers

Concours d'Elegance Entrants will travel through some of the most beautiful scenery, and interesting driving roads of the Amelia Island area. This driving tour includes breakfast, a coffee stop and lunch and is reserved for Concours Entrants and special guests only.

7:00 am - 4:30 pm

Porsche Driving Experience presented by Porsche Cars NA

Drivers and an optional passenger will travel in their personal vehicles to Fernandina Beach Airport for check-in, coffee, donuts and the day's briefing. Participants will be split into groups to enjoy automotive activities including an autocross in one of the latest Porsches and a spirited ride with a professional driver, a tour of the Brumos Collection museum and race shop, and a provided lunch and seminar about Porsche. Tickets required.

Bid on a collection of unique, rare, and eclectic film, television, automotive and motorsports-related items as well as fine jewelry, collectible watches, original art and autographed limited-edition prints.  Items will be displayed in the Plaza Ballroom Foyer of The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, but bidding is virtual and bidders do not need to be present. Proceeds support our legacy non-profit partners.

Seminar: Corvette at Le Mans

NASCAR Hall of Fame Crew Chief Ray Evernham hosts a panel of the people who took Corvette to Le Mans. Panelists scheduled to appear include Justin Bell, Dan Binks and Ron Fellows. Tickets required. Panelists subject to change.

7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Friday Film: The Quest

In 1960, Corvettes joined the field of the renowned French 24 Hours of Le Mans Endurance Race for the first time. Through historical footage, The Quest reveals what happened to each of the four Corvettes after they raced at Le Mans and then were lost for decades. Tickets required.

Saturday 4 March

NASCAR Hall of Fame Crew Chief, Ray Evernham hosts a panel discussion in celebration of racing legend Jeff Gordon, The Amelia’s 2023 Honoree. Gordon and his former crew chief will be joined by Steve Letarte, multi-time winning crew chief at Hendrick Motorsports and NBC TV analyst as they share a rare behind the scenes glimpse of Gordon’s greatest moments on the track and beyond. Tickets Required. Panelists subject to change.

Honoree Dinner

Join us for an exciting evening honoring NASCAR Hall of Famer and Vice Chairman of Hendrick Motorsports, Jeff Gordon.
